The Manor Guest House is situated in the City Hall area, which is a safe, elegant neighborhood of beautifully preserved turn-of-then century houses.
The Manor is a block and a half from a major bus line and the bus to Victoria. It is a short walk to great shopping and some of Vancouver's finest restaurants.
We have free high speed internet access, free local phone calls, and free off street parking.

Accommodations

Most of the rooms have either king or twin beds and private bath, as well as queen pullout sofa beds. They are elegantly and comfortably furnished - not cluttered.
On all sides of the house are well-tended English gardens, bursting with colour.
There is a large guest lounge with wood burning fireplace, and a wonderful old piano that also dates from the turn of the century. There is an extensive reading library as well.

Rooms/Suites

Most of the rooms have either king or twin beds, as well as queen size pullout sofa beds. Most of he rooms have private bath. The rate is $85USD for a room, based on double occupancy. There is a charge of $12USD for each additional person, to a maximum of four per room.
The Penthouse Suite which is a self-contained suite occupying the entire top floor of the house has a fabulous unobstructed view of the cityscape and mountains. The northern wall which is the view side is made of glass and there is a wrap around deck on that side. As well there are six skylights. The Penthouse can sleep 6 people in three queen beds. The rate is $125USD based on double occupancy, and there is an additional charge of $12USD per person, to a maximum of 6 people. The Penthouse has its own kitchen and bathroom.

Amenities

The Manor Guest House has a large guest lounge which can also serve as a conference room. It can accommodate 30 people theatre style, or 20 people seated at tables.

Restrictions

No smoking indoors, no pets.

Rates & Availability

Rates range from $55USD for a room with double bed and shared bath - bath shared with one other room only - to $125USD for the Penthouse Suite. A room with king or twin beds and private bath is $85USD. All rates include a full breakfast.

Directions

From the U.S. border take 99 North. When in the vicinity of the Vancouver International Airport you cross over a bridge. Be in your right lane on that bridge. Exit at Marine Drive East. Go three stoplights. At the third stop light turn left onto Cambie St. Go to 13th Ave. Turn right for one and a half blocks till you come to 345 West 13th Ave. That's the Manor Guest House.
