Nomad is one of the largest adventure tour companies in Africa. To date we have carried 42 500 clients (and counting) and travelled more than 16-million kilometers. We have about 120 full time staff (including our guides) and our tours cover 14 countries in Southern and East Africa.

We have 2 main kinds of tours, camping and accommodated. Our camping program offers exceptional value for money adventure and the average age of the traveler is 31y. Of course at various times of the year this can go up or down depending on University Holidays etc. Our Accommodated tours are aimed at a higher age bracket, but can be booked by anyone who wants adventure without the tent!

What's included, what's not and why?
Let's face it, there is no such thing as an "all-inclusive" tour, there are always extra activities that you can do. We choose to let you make your own decisions. You don't have to spend anything more than the cost of the tour price, the odd meal out, drinks and souvenirs. You choose the rest. River Ventures Manatee Tour & Kayak Center offers quality tours to swim with the manatees. All of River ventures boats are USCG Certified and all captains are USCG Licensed and drug tested. Our tour boats are designed to provide comfort for all seasons, shady and cool in the summer, and enclosed and warm in the winter. Each tour has an "in water" guide who will be there to assist you and your group to ensure a positive experience for all. HD video and photographs are taken on every tour so that you can share your exciting adventure with friends and family.

Complimentary donuts, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks are provided both at the shop and on the boat. Tour prices include all of the gear that you will need for your tour, mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit.

Tours are operated several time a day all year long.

This National Park is attached to two other Wildlife Sanctuaries i.e. Wynaad Wildlife Sanctuary of Kerala and the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary of Tamil Nadu. This place is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts Part of the lushly-forested Deccan Plateau, Bandipur, in Karnataka, offers a rich and varied wildlife habitat. It is a part of a larger national park, which also includes the neighbouring wildlife sanctuaries, of Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu and Wynaad in Kerala. This sanctuary is one of the 15 sanctuaries selected across India for Project Tiger, a scheme launched in 1973, by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature, to save the tiger and its habitat. Located on the highway connecting Mysore and Ooty, at the foothills of the western Ghats, Bandipur is truly a common man's getaway.

In 1931, Bandipur was a sanctuary spanning an area of only 90 sq kms. In 1941, it was stretched to about 800 sq Kms and named the Venugopal Wildlife Park after the royal deity, Venugopala, worshipped by the Maharajas of Mysore. Today, Bandipur National Park, together with the Mudumalai Sanctuary in the south, the Nagarhole National Park in the north-west and the Wynaad Sanctuary of Kerala in the south-west, forms the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.

Covered with a mix of deciduous forests, evergreen forests and scrub, and well - irrigated by the Moyar river, Bandipur has a fairly open forest area, making it easy for visitors to spot wildlife. This sanctuary sprawls over an area of 880 sq. kilometers. The prominent fauna of this reserve, include the Asian elephant, gaur, sambar, chital, spotted deer, barking deer, mouse deer, four horned antelope, wild boar, black naped hare, Indian porcupine and the elusive tiger. According to a 1993 census, there are 66 tigers and more than 1900 elephants. Bandipur is also inhabited by a variety of birds.

The river Moyar, one of the three rivers flowing through the Park, acts as a boundary between the Park and the Mudumalai Sanctuary. The Moyar gorge is 260 metres deep and provides a fabulous view of the surroundings

Then go to the oldest ancient cemetery of Saqqara and see the Step Pyramid of king Zoser. Continue to Pyramids of Giza & Sphinx.
