Description of Surrounding Area

Only 5 minutes from Sunday River, located in the heart of the western mountains of Maine. Close to hiking, fishing, all winter sports.

Built during the Civil War in the Federal Style, the house has a fascinating history. Named after William Rodgers Chapman, a famous composer and conductor, founder of the Rubenstein Club and the Metropolitan Music Society, who owned the home from 1870 until his death in 1930.

Description of Rooms/Suites

We offer ten clean and comfortable rooms, many with multiple beds to accomodate families. Decorated in period and custom furnishings, it is a delightful place to relax after a hard day.

Amenities

We have two great saunas, billiard room, excercise room, and all rooms have phones with computer/modem capabilies.

Restrictions

We are a non-smoking facility.
